The short version. Operation Green Sweep collects nothing. It asks for no device permissions, has no account, no advertising network, no analytics package and no tracker in it. Your save sits on your own device and never leaves it.

Permissions the game does not ask for

This is the whole list, and it is deliberately short. Green Sweep does not request:

Location — the town is authored, not your real streets. The game has no idea where you are and no reason to want to know.
Camera or microphone.
Contacts, photos, files or messages.
Background activity. Close it and it is closed.

Your save

Progress — your bank, your gear, your quota, the counter — is written to the game's own storage on your phone or in your browser. It is not uploaded anywhere. Uninstalling the game, or clearing your browser's data, deletes it, and there is no copy of it for us to restore.

The website

This page and the rest of greensweep.idle-hands.net are plain static files. There are no cookies, no analytics scripts and no third-party embeds. The web server that hands you these files keeps ordinary request logs, the way every web server does, and those are used for nothing but keeping the site up.

What we never do

No advertising, and no advertising identifiers.
No third-party analytics or behavioural tracking.
No selling or brokering of any data, ever, including if this project is ever sold or closed.
No profile of you, because there is nothing to build one from.

If that ever changes

If a later build adds anything that leaves your device — a claimed save, a leaderboard, anything at all — it will be opt-in, this page will say so, and the date at the top will change before it ships.

Children

Green Sweep is not directed at children. We hold no accounts, so we cannot knowingly or unknowingly hold one for a child.
